This second-floor landing and hallway in a Fairfield, Connecticut home boasted elegant curves with a beautiful view – but wall-to-wall carpeting kept it from achieving maximum impact.

Neal’s removed the existing carpet and installed a pre-finished Bruce Dundee oak 3 ¼" floor in a rich Saddle color. Each board had to be custom-fit to accommodate the curved railing.

After removing the carpet, the rest of the project took 1 ½ days to complete. The new flooring compliments the home’s classic style and gives the second-floor landing a bright, clean appearance. The pre-finished flooring is also much easier to clean than the old carpet!
