These 50-year-old oak floors had been covered with carpet for the last 35 years. Looking to rent the house, the homeowner’s goal was to remove the old carpet and give the house a new, cleaner look. While painting and other touch-ups were also necessary, the floors made the biggest statement.

Neal’s removed the carpet and sanded the wood floors, which removed existing shadows and old surface stains. We then applied 3 coats of oil polyurethane.

The end result? The floors look like they did 50 years ago!
